About the Grant

Morgan Stanley provides early-stage innovators with access to capital and strategic resources to help them scale and create meaningful impact. Through its Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV) initiative, the firm offers two accelerator programs: The Lab, designed for for-profit startups, and The Collaborative, dedicated to emerging nonprofits. These programs provide funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and tailored support to help organizations grow. The Lab offers equity investments to participating startups, while The Collaborative grants financial support to nonprofits. Participants also gain access to Morgan Stanley’s extensive industry network, including financial advisors, investors, and technology experts. The firm’s curated five-month accelerator program includes mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, residency opportunities, and guidance from industry professionals. By supporting early-stage businesses and nonprofits, Morgan Stanley aims to create a more equitable, sustainable, and impactful investment landscape.

Who can Apply?

Morgan Stanley’s accelerator programs cater to both for-profit startups and nonprofit organizations that are working on innovative and sustainable solutions. Eligible applicants for The Lab must be early-stage, for-profit companies with scalable business models that address social, environmental, or economic challenges. These startups should demonstrate potential for high impact and growth. For The Collaborative, nonprofit organizations that are in the early stages of development and focused on driving positive social change are encouraged to apply. Both programs require applicants to be legally registered entities. Selected participants should be willing to engage actively in the accelerator program, collaborate with mentors and advisors, and leverage the provided resources to scale their initiatives. Organizations from across the globe are welcome to apply, with grants and investments available for those based in the Americas, Europe, and other international regions.

Grant Amount

For-profit startups selected for The Lab will receive $250,000 (New York) or £250,000 (London) in equity investment. Nonprofit organizations selected for The Collaborative will receive $250,000 (Americas) or £250,000 (international regions) in grants.
