Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events such as the following year’s summit or forums.
- We will not refund tickets, not accept any liability, and not offer or pay compensation where our obligations regarding the AndPurpose Summit or any of the regional AndPurpose Forums are affected by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, acts of God such as pandemics, but not limited to, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, extreme weather conditions, fires, explosions, drought, as well as war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), invasion, act of foreign enemies, mobilisation, requisition, quarantines or embargos.
- We reserve the right to make changes to the Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time without notice, so please check back and review the Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time.
- If you have already registered but cannot find your registration email, please ask us and we shall resend it or assist you to recover it.
- All AndPurpose events are photographed, and videotaped (video and audio recorded). By attending, you hereby grant AndPurpose the right to photograph your image & record your video and audio, and use it in programming, advertisement, and promotional materials both offline and online. If you do not, please steer clear of areas where filming occurs.

- Who do we transmit your personal data to?
As data controller, AndPurpose may be required to transmit your personal data to (i) potential subcontractors for exclusively technical and logistical reasons (hosting and maintenance providers for the Sites, payment and fraud management providers, moderators, database management providers, our service providers in charge of Events), (ii) partners and joint data controllers whose identity is indicated prior to each processing, where applicable (iii) press contacts, in accordance with the purposes described above and (iv) third parties in the event of restructuring of our company, including total or partial transfer of assets, merger, absorption, acquisition, demerger and more generally any reorganisation operation.

If you accept our General Terms and Conditions, your Data may be used for the purposes of managing and optimizing customer relations. Your Data may also be used to send information about AndPurpose offers and news. Social media companies and email router providers may therefore be recipients of your Data. They may also be shared, subject to your agreement, with AndPurpose partners for commercial prospecting purposes.
Our audience measurement and advertising content improvement partners may also be recipients of your Data.
When you accept, your Data may be made public (e.g. photos or testimonials), in which case anyone can access your Data.
Likewise, when you register, your Data is automatically recorded in the Digital Platform, you can then choose the Data that is made public on your profile.
Finally, AndPurpose may be required to communicate your Data to third parties when such communication is required by law, a regulatory provision or a court decision, or if this communication is necessary to ensure the protection and defence of its rights.
- Data transfers outside India
The recipients of your Data may be located abroad, including outside the India Economic Area. Any transfer of your Data outside the European Economic Area is carried out subject to appropriate guarantees, in particular contractual, in accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data. - What are your rights?
In accordance with the regulations in force, you have the right to access and rectify your Data, as well as the right to request its deletion, to object to its processing and to obtain its limitation or portability to the extent that this is applicable.
You can also object to your Data being used for the purpose of creating your customer profile; in this case, you will no longer be able to benefit from personalized offers or services.

Furthermore, you can at any time request to no longer receive our communications relating to our offers, news and events by using the hyperlink provided for this purpose in each email that we send to you.
- How long do we keep your personal data?
When you register, propose a solution to us, volunteer or send us your contact details as part of our business relations, your Data will be kept by AndPurpose for a period of five (5) years from the end of the contractual relationship. At the end of this period, this Data (i) will be archived for accounting and evidentiary purposes during the applicable legal limitation periods or (ii) will be destroyed if said periods have expired.
In the event that we collect banking data, these will be stored securely for the duration necessary to validate your order and payment and will then be deleted in accordance with the regulations applicable to the purposes pursued. For the purposes of managing complaints, your Data may be stored for proof purposes in an intermediate archive.
As part of your registration, your Data will be kept for a period of five (5) years from their collection or your last contact with AndPurpose to send communications relating to commercial offers, news and events proposed by AndPurpose. In the absence of registration, your Data will be kept for a period of three (3) years from their collection or your last contact with AndPurpose.
Finally, the connection logs collected, subject to your agreement, within the framework of cookies and other tracers set up on our Site, will be kept in accordance with the applicable regulations for a period not exceeding thirteen (13) months.
