About the Grant
The MAF Educational Infrastructure Support Program is a CSR initiative by Mirae Asset Foundation designed to fund physical infrastructure projects in the education sector. This grant aims to assist nonprofit organizations and nonprofit educational institutions in enhancing or building infrastructure that promotes better learning environments. The support can be used for a range of educational infrastructure needs, from constructing or refurbishing buildings and learning centers to improving classroom amenities like digital tools and furniture. The grant specifically focuses on enabling access to quality infrastructure, which plays a vital role in improving the overall educational experience for students. Selected applicants may receive up to ₹50 lakhs for large-scale construction or refurbishment projects, and up to ₹15 lakhs for other forms of infrastructure development such as classroom setups or digital enhancements. The initiative is open for the financial year 2025–26, and only shortlisted organizations will be invited to present their proposals. Through this program, MAF reinforces its commitment to long-term community development by supporting sustainable and scalable projects in the field of education.
Who can Apply?
Nonprofit organizations and nonprofit educational institutions that are actively working in the field of education are eligible to apply for this grant. The applicants must demonstrate a clear need for physical infrastructure support to improve or expand their educational offerings. The grant is specifically available for projects located in a select list of cities across India. These include major metropolitan areas like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai, as well as other cities such as Pune, Patna, Indore, Lucknow, Bhopal, Amritsar, Guwahati, and many more. Projects must fall under the categories of educational infrastructure development such as building construction, center refurbishment, classroom furniture, or digital classroom setup. Only legally registered nonprofit entities with a focus on education and a proven record of community service will be considered. The applying organizations should also be capable of providing supporting documentation, demonstrating project viability, and undergoing a proposal presentation if shortlisted. This eligibility framework ensures that MAF’s support reaches genuine initiatives with a strong impact potential in education.
