About the Grant
HCLFoundation’s My Clean City program invites proposals for its Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) – Waste 2 Value Initiative in Rabupura village, Greater Noida. This grant aims to establish a low-cost, environmentally friendly FSM plant that treats fecal sludge and promotes better sanitation practices. The initiative uses Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems (DEWATS) for sustainable sanitation solutions. It focuses on improving public health, protecting the environment, and engaging local stakeholders through awareness programs, capacity building, and community sensitization. The goal is to create a replicable, scalable model for Solid and Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) that can be applied in other areas.
Who can Apply?
This grant is open to not-for-profit organizations with valid 12A, 80G, and CSR1 certificates. Applicants must have prior experience in Fecal Sludge Management, wastewater treatment, and community awareness programs. The organization must demonstrate expertise in implementing FSM projects with local bodies, preferably at the village or urban level. Applicants should have a clear record of conducting feasibility assessments and offering innovative solutions for sanitation and waste management. Organizations must submit proposals that include a detailed project plan, Gantt chart, budget, theory of change, and risk mitigation strategy.
