With a focus on collaboration and empowerment, One Young World inspires young leaders to drive meaningful and lasting change worldwide.

About the Fellowship

The NewNow supports ten young leaders from the Global South, providing opportunities to address pressing global challenges using systems-thinking approaches. Selected leaders will gain access to the 2025 One Young World Summit in Munich, media features, and high-profile speaking engagements. Additional benefits include participation in the Global Leadership Programme, membership in the NewNow community, and collaboration opportunities with fellow leaders. Leaders are encouraged to share impactful stories, collaborate on initiatives, and use their platforms to advocate for justice and equity. The program focuses on building skills, confidence, and influence as systems leaders, enabling participants to lead transformative projects tackling interconnected issues like healthcare, education, and climate change.

Who can Apply?

Eligible candidates must be nationals of Global South countries, aged 18–30, with a strong track record of impactful leadership. Applicants should demonstrate successful implementation of systems-thinking approaches to address local and global challenges. They must showcase evidence of sustainable, long-term impact and a deep understanding of critical issues like inequality, climate change, and youth development. Ideal candidates are passionate about justice, fairness, and equity, with the ability to advocate for change, collaborate effectively with peers, and amplify the voices of young leaders. Applicants should be bridge-builders, committed to using their influence to promote peace, systemic change, and solutions to humanity’s greatest challenges.
