About the Grant

The UNICEF Emergency Preparedness and Response Programme in Ukraine seeks implementing partners capable of supporting conflict-affected communities and families with children in western and central Ukraine. The programme combines emergency preparedness with humanitarian response and essential service recovery. Activities can include emergency supply storage and distribution, cash registration, case management, evacuation support, risk assessments, contingency planning, light rehabilitation of education and health facilities, emergency procurement, monitoring, and referrals for mental health and psychosocial support. The programme aims to strengthen local emergency response systems while ensuring children and families receive timely humanitarian assistance and access to essential services during emergencies.

Who can Apply?

The opportunity is intended for organizations with demonstrated capacity to implement humanitarian preparedness and emergency response activities in the specified regions of Ukraine. Potential implementing partners should have relevant experience in humanitarian assistance, emergency preparedness, child and family support, WASH, education, health, cash assistance, case management, evacuation, humanitarian logistics, community assessments, MHPSS and monitoring. Applicants should demonstrate local operational capacity, qualified personnel, appropriate systems for managing supplies and distributions, and experience coordinating with local authorities and humanitarian actors. Organizations should carefully review the specific UNICEF call documentation for the complete eligibility requirements, required documents and applicable partnership conditions.
