About the Grant
The Viksit Bharat Fellowship, offered by the BlueKraft Digital Foundation, presents a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about contributing to India’s development narrative. This flexible grant encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful storytelling that highlights the country’s progress across various sectors.
Fellows can choose from a variety of deliverable formats, including non-fiction books, articles, case studies, visual narratives like coffee table books, and research papers, enabling them to capture India’s evolution from multiple perspectives. The fellowship spans one year, providing participants with the flexibility to balance their professional commitments while actively contributing to nation-building initiatives.
Fellows are categorized into three tiers:
BlueKraft Associate Fellows receive Rs 75,000 per month
BlueKraft Senior Fellows receive Rs 1,25,000 per month
BlueKraft Distinguished Fellows receive Rs 2,00,000 per month.
This structure ensures that the stipend reflects the experience and expertise of the candidates. The fellowship not only facilitates financial support but also includes networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to extensive research resources, empowering participants to create impactful narratives that resonate with India’s growth journey.
Who can Apply?
The Viksit Bharat Fellowship is open to applicants worldwide aged 18 and older who are passionate about contributing to India’s growth narrative. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in storytelling and relevant subject matter. For BlueKraft Associate Fellows, a Bachelor’s degree and a strong portfolio or relevant internship experience are required. Senior Fellows must possess a Master’s degree and 5-15 years of relevant experience or published works. Distinguished Fellows should have a minimum of 15 years of experience or notable publications. This diverse eligibility criterion aims to create a rich cohort of individuals dedicated to nation-building.
