About the Grant
The Tech and Deep Tech Program Africa 2026 is designed to support innovative startups developing technology-driven and deep-tech solutions across Africa. The program focuses on ventures leveraging scientific, engineering, and technological advancements to solve real-world challenges. Priority sectors include Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, SaaS, ClimateTech, AgriteTech, Renewable Energy, WaterTech, HealthTech, MedTech, FinTech, EdTech, Logistics, and Supply Chain innovations. The initiative offers two tracks: a Pre-Seed Track for startups validating their solutions and a Seed Track for businesses preparing to scale. Participants gain access to growth opportunities, mentorship, business development support, and ecosystem connections.
Who can Apply?
Applications are open to startups that are incorporated in an African country and primarily operate within Africa. Eligible applicants must be building technology-enabled or deep-tech solutions that address demonstrated challenges and create meaningful impact. Startups should have a committed founding team capable of actively participating throughout the program. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English and submit a complete application within the specified deadline. Both early-stage ventures validating their products and startups preparing for expansion are encouraged to apply. The program welcomes innovations across AI, climate technology, health technology, education technology, financial technology, and other technology-focused sectors.
