About Organisation
The SBI Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of the State Bank of India. It supports social development initiatives across areas including education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, livelihoods and community welfare. Through programmes designed to address local needs, the Foundation works with implementation partners to improve access to essential services and create opportunities for underserved communities. Its Gram Seva programme follows an integrated approach to rural development, encouraging community participation and coordinated interventions that can strengthen village-level infrastructure and livelihoods.
About the Grant
The SBI Foundation Gram Seva RFP 2026 invites eligible organisations to propose integrated village-development interventions for the programme’s 2026–2027 implementation period. The initiative combines education, healthcare, water and sanitation, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, youth development, digitalisation and environmental management. The proposed model focuses on clusters of five neighbouring villages and aims to create sustainable and replicable community-development outcomes. Organisations should consult the official request for proposals for the approved locations, budget conditions and implementation requirements.
Who can Apply?
The opportunity is intended for eligible NGOs and nonprofit organisations registered in India that can demonstrate the capacity to implement integrated rural-development projects. Applicants must satisfy the Foundation’s requirements concerning organisational registration, relevant experience, geographic eligibility, financial management and implementation capability. Proposals should demonstrate community participation and a clear plan for delivering measurable outcomes. The exact eligible districts and documentation requirements must be checked in the official RFP before submission.
How to Apply?
Interested organisations should download and review the official SBI Foundation Gram Seva RFP and its annexures. Prepare a project proposal with the implementation plan, target villages, activity schedule, budget, expected outcomes and supporting organisational documents. Submit the proposal through the official channel specified in the RFP. Applicants should ensure that their selected district and project design meet all eligibility conditions.
