About the Grant
The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has partnered with TERI to release the 7th section of the GEF Small Grants Programme in India (SGP). This application aims to empower prone groups through progressive solutions for climate exchange, land degradation, and biodiversity conservation.
A key aspect of SGP OP 7 is the Social Innovation Platform (SIP) approach. Developed by way of UNDP, SIP uses “Deep Listening” techniques to gather community insights and collaboratively layout interventions. Grant amount not exceeding more than $75,000.
- Collect and examine network narratives related to SGP tasks.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among SGP grantees, CSOs, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Develop verbal exchange techniques to sell replication and scaling up of a successful task.
- Enhance civil society’s impact on coverage by enticing key stakeholders.
Who can Apply?
- NGOs, Academic or Research Institutions with a focal point on surroundings, weather exchange, biodiversity, or land degradation.
- NGOs should be registered as a society or agree with and indexed on NITI Aayog’s DARPAN portal.
- Allowed, however lead company has to meet all standards.
- At least five years in information management and ability building in the surrounding area. Presence in SGP OP7 project panorama required.
- Average turnover of INR 1 crore within the closing three years (audited debts wanted).
- Experienced specialists with relevant information (tested CVs required).
- Proven knowledge control, conversation, and community engagement capabilities. Ability to create and control an expertise-sharing platform. Strong writing, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
How to Apply?
The deadline for the submission of proposals is August 10, 2024, by way of 18:00 IST. The soft must be submitted to this email and a hard copy to this address: Small Grants Program Secretariat, TERI, IHC Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003, India.
Selection Process:
- Proposals are evaluated primarily based on completeness, technical advantage, and fee effectiveness.
- Shortlisted candidates can be required to offer their plans.
