About the Grant
TRF Alumni in India, Bangladesh, and Brazil can apply for a new round of mentorship and grant programs on “just transition” – achieving sustainability without leaving anyone behind. This is especially relevant in climate change, where poorly planned green initiatives can harm workers.
The program equips journalists to report on this complex issue. An online info session will explain “just transition” and how journalists can cover it. Shortlisted applicants can pitch story ideas for a chance to win a £300 grant and mentorship from journalism experts.
Who can Apply?
- Applicants ought to be based totally in, or conduct reporting on, India, Bangladesh, or Brazil.
- Being a complete-time journalist or a ordinary contributor to media businesses is needed.
- Fluency in English is obligatory, because the data path may be carried out in English.
- At least 2 years of experience in writing tales about climate exchange, weather change choices, and their impacts on employees and communities is necessary.
