About Organisation
The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector offers financial assistance to eligible agencies to facilitate their affiliation with and participation in European and worldwide bodies, associations, networks, and training applications associated with EU and international policies and programs.
- Enhance the ability of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to remain knowledgeable about developments at the European and international tiers.
- Empower CSOs to successfully train their members on EU and global subjects applicable to their respective regions of understanding.
- Facilitate active participation of CSOs in the decision-making strategies at the European and worldwide ranges.
- Promote collaboration and networking among CSOs inside international boards.
About the Grant
Financial contributions from the Civil Society Fund (CSF) will not exceed 80 % of the overall eligible challenge expenses incurred via the respective Civil Society Organization (CSO) and shall now not surpass the sum of €6,000.00 according to the company. The lesser of those amounts constitutes the maximum economic aid available. For instance, if the overall undertaking fee amounts to €7,500, the repayment could be restrained to €6,000, thereby necessitating a co-financing contribution of €1,500.
Who can Apply?
- Measure 1: Affiliation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with European and global umbrella agencies, groupings, federations, confederations, or networks.
- Measure 2: Attendance at conferences, seminars, and conferences held abroad in conjunction with affiliations to European and international umbrella organizations, groupings, federations, confederations, or networks, as well as participation in training applications related to policy or challenge-precise subjects conducted abroad.
- The allocation of the budget shall be determined at the discretion of the Civil Society Fund (CSF) Evaluation Committee.
Eligible applicants are Civil Society Organizations that meet one of the following criteria:
- Voluntary, self-governing agencies running independently from public authorities and political management, registered and compliant with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organizations beneath the provisions of the Voluntary Organizations Act.
- Social partners or other Civil Society Organizations own reliable popularity under precise laws, regulations, or administrative acts.
- CSOs established with the precise reason of addressing public hobbies or pleasing their project assertion, without business or business objectives.
