About Organisation
The Melton Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to fostering global citizenship. Registered as a 501(c)(3) organization in the USA, the Melton Foundation operates global citizenship hubs across six countries: Chile, China, Germany, Ghana, India, and the USA. With a vision of creating sustainable solutions through cross-cultural engagement, it empowers individuals and organizations to work together for the greater good. The Foundation’s programs, partnerships, and initiatives are built on the belief that by uniting communities worldwide, individuals can collectively address complex issues and contribute meaningfully to a better world.
About the Grant
The Melton Foundation’s Global Citizenship Learning Program empowers university students to become advocates of global citizenship. Participants gain hands-on experience in cross-boundary collaboration and community service, engage with pressing global issues related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and work with a diverse cohort from six countries: China, India, Chile, Ghana, Germany, and the USA. Through practical workshops, mentorship, and skill-building in areas such as intercultural communication, ethical leadership, and project management, students expand their influence and contribute to impactful initiatives. Upon successful completion, fellows join a lifelong network of 600+ Senior Melton Fellows and may be invited to attend a fully funded in-person convention held annually across one of the six countries.
