About Organisation
The Conservation, Food and Health Foundation is committed to safeguarding the environment, enhancing food production, and promoting public health across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East. The Foundation believes in generating sustainable, local solutions that improve the quality of life and the environment. By fostering local leadership and capacity development, it aims to address pressing challenges in conservation, agriculture, and health, prioritizing underfunded issues and areas.
About the Grant
The Foundation offers grants to support applied research and innovative projects that provide practical solutions to environmental and human challenges. It focuses on initiatives that advance local leadership, enhance community capacity, and address pressing issues in conservation, food security, and health. Preference is given to projects in underfunded areas and those that can demonstrate significant community impact. The goal is to provide seed funding that helps organizations establish a track record for future larger grants.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include local, state, and regional organizations in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East, as well as upper-income country organizations partnering with local entities. Applicants must demonstrate non-governmental or charitable status, such as NGOs, nonprofit organizations, civil society organizations, and academic institutions. Government agencies and religious organizations can partner but are ineligible for direct funding. The Foundation prioritizes projects that build capacity and advance significant change in the fields of conservation, food, and health.
How to Apply?
To apply, submit an online concept application by either January 1 or July 1 to receive an invitation to submit a proposal. Only one application per review cycle is allowed.
