About the Grant
CivicDataLab is offering a paid, in-person fellowship opportunity based in New Delhi. This unique internship focuses on climate action and disaster risk reduction, aiming to enhance the understanding of disaster management and governance systems in India. The fellowship centers on data-centric research, emphasizing fieldwork and stakeholder engagement. Fellows will contribute to projects that apply data to support policy reform and strengthen evidence-based decision-making. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, facilitate interviews and focus groups, and contribute to the development of reports and advocacy materials. Who can Apply?

Applicants should be in the final year of or have completed a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Disaster Management, Regional Planning, or a related discipline. A willingness to participate in both desk and field research, and to contribute to stakeholder consultations and policy analysis, is essential.
