The Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) was established on January 1, 2004, as an independent academic society. Its primary mission is to encourage scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge about the use of computers in education. APSCE focuses on enhancing educational practices through technology, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, promoting international collaboration among educators, researchers, and policymakers to advance educational technology. The society supports the development and application of computer-based tools in learning environments, fostering innovation and research in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and mobile learning technologies. APSCE’s broad initiatives aim to shape the future of education, ensuring that technology remains a critical tool for global learning advancement.

About the Grant

The 33rd International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2025) is organized by APSCE and will be hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM). This conference, scheduled from December 1 to 5, 2025, will offer a platform for researchers, educators, and policymakers to connect and share insights about the role of computers in education. It will be a meta-conference comprising seven specialized sub-conferences, focusing on various aspects of technology-enhanced learning, including artificial intelligence, educational gamification, learning analytics, and more. Accepted papers in the conference will be published in proceedings and submitted to Elsevier for inclusion in Scopus. Notably, distinguished papers will have the opportunity for publication in the official academic journal of APSCE, Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning. This event provides an excellent opportunity for global dissemination and collaboration on research related to educational technology.
