Namma Bengaluru Challenge: Innovate for a Better City

Unboxing BLR is an initiative aimed at engaging the citizens and communities of Bangalore in meaningful activities that improve their connection with the city. By curating, facilitating, and catalyzing local efforts, Unboxing BLR helps citizens actively contribute to the growth and development of Bangalore. Their focus is on enabling change through innovation, collaboration, and community-driven solutions. The organization also works to raise awareness about the city’s challenges and provide practical opportunities for solving them.

The Namma Bengaluru Challenge is an open call for changemakers—both for-profit and not-for-profit entities—who are working on innovative solutions to make Bengaluru a safer, friendlier, and more livable city. The grant supports practical and achievable projects with city-wide impact, enabling young innovators to bring fresh ideas to life. Shortlisted candidates will present their proposals to an accomplished jury at the BLR Hubba event, as part of Unboxing BLR’s city-wide festival. In addition to the grant, selected changemakers will also have their stories spotlighted through short video reels, amplifying their impact on Bengaluru.
