About the Grant
The Chevening Scholarship for Honduras provides exceptional Honduran professionals with a fully funded opportunity to pursue a one-year taught master’s degree at an eligible UK university. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, travel and additional eligible allowances. Beyond financial support, scholars gain access to Chevening’s international community and professional network. Applicants are expected to demonstrate leadership potential, professional experience, networking ability and a clear vision for their future impact. A key condition is that successful scholars return to Honduras for at least two years after completing their scholarship, allowing them to apply their knowledge and experience in their home country.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be citizens of Honduras and hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies them for postgraduate study in the UK. They must have at least two years of work experience and apply to three eligible UK master’s courses. Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential, networking ability and a commitment to positive change. Successful candidates must obtain an unconditional offer from at least one eligible course by the required deadline. They must also commit to returning to Honduras for at least two years after completing the scholarship.
