About Organisation

Wipro Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility entity of Wipro Limited and works across areas including education, primary healthcare, ecology, disaster response, and cities and public spaces. For more than two decades, the Foundation has supported social initiatives and partnered with civil society organisations to address complex community challenges. In education, it focuses on creating meaningful and sustained opportunities for children facing structural disadvantages. Through the Wipro Foundation Access to Education Program 2026, the Foundation works with nonprofit organisations supporting children in marginalised urban communities through educational, socio-emotional, exposure and career-related interventions designed to improve their long-term opportunities.

About the Grant

The Wipro Foundation Access to Education Program 2026 supports civil society organisations working with children facing barriers such as migration, language gaps, financial pressures, unstable support systems and unsafe living conditions. The programme has evolved from primarily supporting school enrolment, scholarships, foundational literacy and community learning towards a broader life-cycle approach. It encourages sustained engagement that extends beyond school access and completion. Supported organisations are expected to help children through educational and socio-emotional assistance, exposure and career guidance. The objective is to enable children from marginalised communities to make informed choices and achieve stronger long-term educational and life outcomes.
