The Wipro Education Fellowship Program is an initiative to support early-stage educational organizations striving to make a systemic impact on school education in India. Launched in 2015, the fellowship seeks to nurture organizations led by passionate individuals committed to transforming education in underrepresented areas. The program focuses on supporting interventions in K–12 education, particularly in foundational literacy and numeracy, inclusive education for children with disabilities, nature education, and computational thinking. Organizations supported under the fellowship are expected to engage directly with the public education system, preferably in rural or non-metro locations. The fellowship provides three-year financial assistance to up to three core team members from selected organizations. In addition to funding, fellows receive access to structured capacity-building programs, expert mentoring, and a network of like-minded educational organizations supported by the Wipro Foundation. This holistic support model is designed to empower grassroots efforts and build sustainable, scalable education solutions.
