About the Grant

The WFA Fellowship is a global mentorship initiative that supported over 450 participants in 2024 and is expanding further this year. It connects individuals across the food and agriculture sector—ranging from farmers to CEOs, scientists to AgTech professionals—through a structured mentorship model. Participants can choose to be mentors or mentees, dedicating just one hour per month. Mentors share insights and guidance based on their experience, while mentees gain valuable support for career growth. This initiative is part of a broader mission to advance gender diversity and leadership in the agri-food industry through meaningful, guided connections and shared learning.

Who can Apply?

Mentors and mentees from the food and agriculture industry are welcome.
Mentors: Applicants should have at least one year of experience in the sector and ideally some leadership or management exposure. They should be good listeners, honest, and open to sharing knowledge. Dedication of just one hour per month is expected.
Mentees: The program is open to women currently working in or exploring a career in the agri-food sector. Applicants should be receptive to feedback, open to learning, and able to commit one hour monthly. No specific level of education or experience is required, and mentees are matched with mentors who can provide appropriate guidance.
