About the Grant
The Unity for Humanity Grant provides funding, technical support, and marketing assistance to creators working on impactful projects. This open call invites submissions for projects developed using RT3D platforms like Unity, Unreal, and Quill. The grant is designed to support projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on measurable social impact. In addition to financial support, selected projects receive technical mentorship from Unity’s professional services team and exposure through bespoke marketing opportunities. The total funding for the 2025 cycle is $500,000, including a specific grant for student projects.
Who can Apply?
The Unity for Humanity Grant is open to global creators working on impact-driven projects of any genre, including games, XR, and films. Applicants must have projects in development with a prototype or demo. While projects should be charitable in nature, they do not need to be affiliated with a nonprofit organization. However, a legal entity such as a studio or nonprofit must submit the application. Projects must align with the United Nations SDGs, and applicants must not be from sanctioned countries. Applicants must submit in English, with projects ideally in line with the inclusion, impact, and viability criteria outlined by Unity for Humanity.
