Who can Apply?
he Australia Awards Scholarships are open to applicants from Wallis and Futuna who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies, including master’s degrees by coursework or research. Candidates must meet the general eligibility criteria set by the Australian Government, along with additional requirements specific to Wallis and Futuna applicants.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold citizenship of Wallis and Futuna and be residing in the region at the time of application.
- Possess the necessary academic qualifications for their chosen level of study.
- Provide proof of English language proficiency with an IELTS (academic) score of at least 6.5 (with no individual band score below 6.0) or an equivalent TOEFL or PTE score. The score must be valid as of January 1, 2026.
- Submit a complete application, including a passport or birth certificate, academic transcripts, curriculum vitae (CV), and two reference letters (one from a current employer and one from a previous employer, mentor, or academic supervisor).
