About the Grant
The Micro-Grants for Podcasters 2024 Programme supports creators in producing captivating trailers, original pilots, or standout episodes. Twenty applicants will receive cash grants of up to £1,000, production support from Content is Queen, and access to the Epidemic Sound library. Selected creators will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Audible for further development. Grant recipients must deliver their projects within 12 weeks, fulfilling milestones and providing documentation of progress. Content is Queen aims to enable creators to turn their podcasting visions into reality while maintaining their intellectual property rights.
Who can Apply?
This grant is open to individuals worldwide, including new and existing podcasters. It prioritizes disabled individuals, racialized creators, LGBTQIA+ community members, and those from low-income backgrounds. Applicants must be 18 or older and able to commit to weekly production calls. Businesses, organizations with over ten employees, or entities with a turnover exceeding £50,000 are not eligible. Schools and charities are also excluded. International applicants must provide valid PayPal accounts, while UK applicants need UK bank accounts in their name.
