About Organisation

The Global Warming Mitigation Project (GWMP) is committed to fostering innovative climate solutions that support emissions reduction at a global scale. Through the Keeling Curve Prize, GWMP seeks to empower and accelerate climate action worldwide. Named after the Keeling Curve, which tracks the ongoing rise of CO₂ in the Earth’s atmosphere, this prize not only serves as a financial boost but also as a launchpad for growth, aiming to support visionary climate leaders. GWMP targets projects that generate meaningful emissions reduction and enhance the planet’s resilience. By championing active climate initiatives, GWMP fosters a collective effort to mitigate the effects of global warming and supports a sustainable future.

About the Grant

The Keeling Curve Prize is awarded to outstanding projects that demonstrate significant impact in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It serves as both a financial incentive and a platform for scaling innovative projects to global levels. Awarded across five categories—Carbon Sinks, Energy, Finance, Social & Cultural Pathways, and Transport & Mobility—the prize celebrates initiatives that advance technological and nature-based solutions, promote clean energy, leverage financial mechanisms for climate mitigation, and reshape cultural perspectives. By supporting projects in these key areas, GWMP empowers climate leaders to drive forward transformative change and build sustainable pathways to achieve lasting global impact.

Who can Apply?

Applicants from anywhere in the world are encouraged to apply, provided they have active projects that are operational and impact-oriented. The Keeling Curve Prize supports projects rather than unimplemented ideas or conceptual plans, and past accomplishments alone will not qualify. Applications must detail a current, active project, submitted in English. Previous applicants may reapply, but past winners can only submit new projects that differ significantly from their prior submissions. Eligible projects must attempt to quantify emissions reductions and address scalability. Those applying should ensure their projects align with one or more of the prize categories to enhance their chance of selection.

How to Apply?

Submit an application detailing your project’s objectives, quantifiable emissions reductions, and scalability potential. Applications must be in English.
