About the Grant

The Indus Towers Scholarship Program 2025-26, implemented by Shishu Sarothi, is designed to empower young individuals with disabilities by offering financial assistance for higher education. The scholarship is open to students admitted in the session 2025-26 across diverse educational pathways. These include academic and professional courses, vocational and skills training, preparatory coaching for employment-related competitive examinations, and soft-skills programs. By providing critical financial support, the program ensures that financial limitations do not obstruct talented and deserving students from realizing their educational and career goals. Who can Apply?

The scholarship is open to Indian nationals with a benchmark disability of not less than 40%. Applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 40 years as of 1 January 2025. To be eligible, candidates must have successfully completed HSLC/Class 10 or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA. The program specifically supports students from families with an annual income below ₹8 lakhs, prioritizing those belonging to BPL and EWS categories. Eligible students may be pursuing higher education through academic or professional programs, vocational and skill development training, soft skills programs, or coaching for competitive examinations. The scholarship is designed to support motivated individuals who demonstrate academic merit and determination to pursue their goals despite financial and social challenges. Past recipients and first-time applicants alike are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria outlined.
