About the Grant
The Meity TIDE 2.0 Program is an initiative by IIITD Innovation & Incubation Center aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and early-stage startups. This grant program is designed to support individuals and teams at critical phases of their innovation journey, from the ideation stage to the market-entry level. It offers two key categories—Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) and Startup Grant. The EIR category provides funding for the development and validation of ideas, helping innovators build a proof of concept. Meanwhile, the Grant category focuses on supporting startups that already have a proof of concept and are looking to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) and scale towards commercialization. The program targets high-potential sectors such as health tech, deep tech, robotics, IoT, clean technology, agriculture, and initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goals and machine learning.
Who can Apply?
The Meity TIDE 2.0 Program is open to individuals, students, and startups working in innovative domains. For the Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) category, applicants can be early-stage entrepreneurs or student innovators who have an idea that needs development and validation. The goal is to help them reach the proof-of-concept (POC) stage. For the Grant category, applicants must already have a validated proof of concept and aim to build a minimum viable product and take their startup closer to market readiness. Both categories are ideal for those working in cutting-edge sectors such as health tech, environment clean tech, deep technology, agriculture, drones and robotics, and machine learning. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to using technology for social and economic development and align their proposals with impactful, scalable outcomes.
How to Apply?
Interested individuals or startups must submit their application through the IIITD Innovation & Incubation Center’s dedicated platform. Ensure your proposal fits the eligibility criteria and aligns with the focus sectors.
