About the Grant

The Global Call for Proposals by the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking supports projects delivering immediate and essential assistance to victims. Priority is given to initiatives addressing women, children, and underserved groups such as displaced persons, indigenous communities, and those affected by climate-related displacement. Projects should integrate innovative strategies, focus on survivor rehabilitation, and ensure trauma-informed care. Activities may include medical, material, legal, and psychosocial assistance, vocational training, and family reunification.

Who can Apply?

Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations registered by December 2022 in their country of operation. Applicants must have at least two years of experience providing direct assistance to trafficking victims or vulnerable populations and meet the requirements of the UN Partner Portal, including the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse module. Organizations must demonstrate the capacity to independently manage projects and ensure proper prevention measures for exploitation and abuse. Entities with discriminatory practices or activities unrelated to direct victim assistance are ineligible.

Interested organizations must submit project proposals aligned with the grant’s objectives and priority areas. A valid Partner ID on the UN Partner Portal is required.
