About Organisation
Established in 1990, the IPRA Foundation, a non-income, tax-exempt entity, serves similarly to the goals and undertakings of the International Peace Research Association (IPRA), which has been dedicated to enhancing peace methods since 1965.
The IPRA Foundation’s challenge is to propel the sphere of peace studies through rigorous exams of the root reasons of conflict and exploration of nonviolent options. Peace studies are hired to inform peace-constructing endeavors that encourage visions of a peaceful international.
About the Grant
Since 2002, the IPRA Foundation has funded peace research initiatives globally, together with areas just like the Middle East, the Philippines, and the USA. Grants of up to $5,000 are available to person pupils for small-scale research. Only one grant according to applicant is authorized. Proposals are reviewed by way of foundation body of workers and board contributors. Overhead charges and living charges aren’t covered.
Who can Apply?
- Only one supply will be offered to any applicant.
- Previous recipients of the Peace Research Grant are ineligible to apply once more.
- Applicants with familial, instructional, or other related connections to modern-day or beyond participants of the IPRA Foundation’s Board of Directors or non-board reviewers are disqualified.
- Current and former individuals of the IPRA Foundation Board of Directors and non-board reviewers aren’t eligible to apply.
