About Organisation
SBI Foundation (SBIF) was established to unify the CSR activities of the State Bank Group, aiming to uplift the underprivileged and foster socio-economic development. SBIF’s work spans across multiple focus areas including Rural Development, Healthcare, Disability & Inclusion, Education, Livelihoods/Entrepreneurship, and Environment. To date, SBIF’s initiatives have positively impacted over a million beneficiaries, enhancing the quality of life and opportunities for the less fortunate. A significant aspect of their efforts is in Healthcare, contributing to UN SDGs such as “Good Health and Well-Being” and “Partnership for Goals.” SBIF’s healthcare programs aim to increase access to medical resources, improve treatment options, and develop innovative solutions to strengthen vulnerable communities.
About the Grant
SBIF is inviting proposals from Indian non-profit organizations to implement projects focused on TB screening and treatment. This effort is part of the SBIF’s “TB Mukt Initiative,” aimed at providing free diagnosis and treatment to vulnerable groups in rural and tribal regions. The grant aims to support innovative healthcare projects that align with SBIF’s mission to ensure well-being for underserved communities. Applicants are expected to deliver projects that leverage new models to make healthcare accessible to those in need, with particular focus on fighting tuberculosis and aiding the most affected populations.
Who can Apply?
The grant is open to non-profit organizations (NGOs/NPOs) registered in India with a strong track record in healthcare, specifically in disease screening and treatment projects. Eligible organizations should have a proven capability to manage projects in the rural and tribal healthcare sectors, with experience in TB-related interventions being an added advantage. Applicants are required to meet both technical and financial pre-qualification criteria as specified by SBIF. Organizations must demonstrate a history of successful project implementation, compliance with financial norms, and capacity to deliver impactful outcomes in the area of healthcare.
