The DWF Foundation, an independent charity established by DWF, is dedicated to supporting individuals, groups, and communities in reaching their full potential. Since its inception in 2015, it has become the focal point of DWF’s charitable efforts, reflecting the organization’s commitment to making a difference. The Foundation provides funds, resources, and mentoring support, with operating costs fully covered by DWF, ensuring that every contribution directly benefits good causes. To date, the Foundation has distributed over £1 million to initiatives aligned with its core areas of focus. Its work is guided by themes like education, employability, homelessness, health, and sustainability, aiming to inspire positive change. Operating in regions where DWF is present, the Foundation collaborates closely with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) teams to maximize its impact through fundraising, volunteering, and pro bono efforts, fostering a culture of contribution within DWF.
About the Grant
The DWF Foundation offers grants to registered charities addressing key community issues within its five thematic areas: education, employability, homelessness, health and well-being, and environmental sustainability. Grants are aimed at initiatives that tackle community challenges, improve voluntary groups’ efficiency, promote inclusivity, and help young people develop community-beneficial skills. Funding is designed to empower local communities, encouraging participation and addressing exclusion. Since its inception, the Foundation has supported numerous projects, distributing over £1 million. Charities operating in countries where DWF has a presence are eligible to apply. The Foundation emphasizes collaboration, working closely with DWF’s CSR teams to support impactful initiatives. In addition to funding, the Foundation fosters involvement through mentoring, volunteering, and team challenges, ensuring its efforts contribute meaningfully to community development.
Who can Apply?
Registered charities in countries where DWF operates, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Qatar, Spain, the UAE, the UK, and the US, can apply for funding. Applicants must demonstrate how their projects align with the Foundation’s focus areas: education, employability, homelessness, health, and environmental sustainability. Priority is given to initiatives addressing community challenges, supporting voluntary groups, promoting inclusivity, and empowering young people. International charities must obtain pre-approval from the Foundation Manager. Applications are open to registered charities and must adhere to the Foundation’s guidelines.
How to Apply?
Eligible registered charities should complete the DWF Foundation’s online application form, adhering to the grant guidelines and including all necessary supporting information.
