About Organisation
Samhita–Collective Good Foundation works with organisations and partners seeking practical solutions to social and development challenges in India. Its grantmaking supports initiatives that improve access to essential services, strengthen systems and create sustainable opportunities for underserved communities. The organisation collaborates with nonprofits, businesses and other stakeholders to support scalable social impact. In its current education-focused Catalytic Grant programme, Samhita-CGF is inviting Indian nonprofit organisations working to improve learning pathways for children and young people. The programme places emphasis on organisations with demonstrated impact, strong leadership and deep community roots. The current call focuses specifically on education and school-to-work transition.
About the Grant
The Samhita–Collective Good Foundation Catalytic Grant 2026 is a multi-year funding opportunity for Indian nonprofits working in education. Selected organisations can receive between ₹75 lakh and ₹1 crore over a period of up to three years. The programme seeks practical approaches that improve educational outcomes for children aged 9–15, strengthen parental engagement, develop life skills and adolescent agency, and support transitions from school to further education or employment. Funding may support programme expansion, new models, organisational capacity, evidence generation and replication. Approximately two to four organisations are expected to be selected through a staged review and due-diligence process.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants are Indian nonprofit organisations working to improve education and learning pathways for underserved children and young people. Organisations should demonstrate relevant experience, meaningful community engagement, strong leadership and the capacity to manage a multi-year programme. Priority areas include learning outcomes for ages 9–15, parental engagement, adolescent agency and school-to-work transition. Particular consideration is given to organisations reaching underserved communities and geographies, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Northeast India and Maharashtra. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the need for their intervention, expected impact, organisational capacity and alignment with the programme’s education priorities.
How to Apply?
Interested organisations should review Samhita-CGF’s programme information and eligibility requirements and submit an Expression of Interest through the designated application form. Applicants should clearly explain their education programme, target communities, expected outcomes, organisational experience and proposed use of funding. Samhita has also announced an applicant webinar for September 25, 2026. The EOI deadline is October 9, 2026.
