About the Grant

The Prize for Transformative Futures in Peace and Security, initiated by Professor Nayef Al-Rodhan and Ms. Anne-Caroline Pissis Martel, under the leadership of Ambassador Thomas Greminger, recognizes groundbreaking concepts addressing global peace and security challenges. Launched in 2023, the prize encourages innovative ideas that transcend national boundaries, offering exceptional promise in tackling contemporary security threats.

Eligible submissions may come from various fields, including transformative technologies, pandemics, biothreats, autonomous weapons, climate change, human rights, cybersecurity, education, and disarmament. The competition aims to support forward-thinking initiatives that contribute to global stability and security. The first-place winner will receive a fully funded 2-month incubation program within GCSP’s Creative Spark in Geneva, valued at CHF 15,000, along with a certificate of excellence. The second and third-place winners will be awarded certificates of recognition.

The winners will be announced at a public event in May 2025, providing global recognition and networking opportunities. This initiative aligns with GCSP’s mission to foster innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration in addressing security challenges, encouraging visionary solutions that shape a more peaceful and secure world.

Who can Apply?
