About the Grant
The National Child Rights Research Fellowship (NCRRF), initiated in 2006, is a prestigious research fellowship awarded annually to a maximum of five fellows. The fellowship supports rigorous, ethical, and rights-based research on critical child rights issues in India. Fellows conduct in-depth studies that contribute to evidence-based advocacy and policy discourse while setting benchmarks for social research methodologies, ethics, and data collection involving children. The program also nurtures fellows as ambassadors for child rights, strengthening their ability to analyse and address children’s issues through a critical and ethical lens.
