About the Grant
The Global Energy Center – Spring 2026 Young Global Professionals (YGP) Program offers early-career individuals hands-on experience in global energy policy, climate action, and international affairs. Hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center (GEC), the program enables participants to engage in research, event planning, and publications that advance global energy security and net-zero pathways. YGPs gain exposure to the operations of a leading think tank while contributing to meaningful policy discussions.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must:

Be college juniors, graduate students, or recent graduates in relevant fields such as political science, international affairs, economics, public policy, or energy and environmental science.

Show interest in energy, climate, and international policy.

Possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Be proficient in MS Office and demonstrate professionalism in collaborative settings.

Be authorized to work in the United States and available full-time (40 hours/week) in person at the Washington, DC headquarters.
