Citizens for Public Leadership (CPL) is an independent, non-partisan organisation committed to strengthening India’s democratic ecosystem by nurturing future public leaders. About the Grant
The CPL Fellowship Programme 2026 is a 10-month, part-time, virtual fellowship focused on public policy education and leadership development. The programme offers thought leadership sessions, adaptive leadership learning, skill-building workshops, mentorship, and capstone projects. Fellows also participate in a two-day in-person policy conclave in New Delhi. The fellowship is designed to build policy knowledge, leadership capacity, and practical skills for careers in public policy, governance, and social innovation.
Who can Apply?
The fellowship is open to motivated young individuals interested in public policy, governance, and leadership. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to civic engagement and public service. The programme welcomes participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Candidates seeking financial assistance may apply separately for the fellowship scholarship, which is assessed independently and meant for those with genuine financial need.
