Call for Grant Applications – Inclusive Democracy Accelerator
About Organisation
The Inclusive Democracy Accelerator (IDA) is an initiative by People Powered, a global network committed to advancing participatory and deliberative democracy. The organization focuses on creating spaces where marginalized communities, including women, youth, and displaced people, can actively engage in decision-making processes like policymaking and budget planning. Through its work, People Powered supports governments and civil society leaders to adopt best practices for including these communities in democratic processes, thereby ensuring that the policies developed reflect their needs and priorities. This initiative fosters collaboration between civil society organizations and government authorities to create lasting, transformative changes in the democratic process, encouraging greater participation from historically marginalized groups.
