About the Grant
The Gender Reveal Grant & Mutual Aid Program offers financial support to trans people of color (TPOC) leading community, art, or organizing projects. The grant awards range from $500 to $1000, aimed at supporting projects that either aid trans communities or other marginalized groups, or those that foster gender diversity and celebrate trans lives. Projects can be in any stage of development—whether in planning, ongoing, or established. The grant program is designed to encourage creativity and provide financial aid for transformative projects that often lack access to traditional funding sources. Projects may vary in scope, from mutual aid efforts to artistic endeavors, and can be focused on advocacy, education, or direct community support. This initiative is entirely community-funded through donations and Patreon, ensuring that grant recipients are directly supported by the broader trans community and their allies. Grant recipients are selected by a panel of trans POC judges who review applications based on project relevance, impact, and alignment with the grant’s mission.
