About the Grant
The Innofounder Incubator Course 2026 is a 12-month full-time development programme for entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas and higher education. Participants receive DKK 27,500 per month for 12 months, along with a DKK 100,000 development grant. The programme is designed to help founders move an early-stage idea toward a financially sustainable business through mentoring, training, feedback, market development and entrepreneurial support. Applicants can apply individually or as teams of up to three founders. The 2026 programme includes thematic areas such as green technology, life science, health and welfare technology, critical and digital technologies, and defence and security technology.
Who can Apply?
The Innofounder 2026 programme is open to entrepreneurs who have completed, or will complete before the programme begins, a higher education qualification. As a general rule, Innovation Fund Denmark considers higher education to mean at least 120 ECTS credits. Applicants can apply individually or in teams of up to three founders. During the programme, each participating founder must work full-time, 37 hours per week, on the company and own at least 12.5% of the company. The company must have a Danish CVR number when the Innofounder programme starts and must meet the programme’s company-age and ownership requirements.
How to Apply?
Applicants should submit a short CV (max. 1 page) and a story/research pitch (up to 300 words). Up to two pitches may be submitted, with one being selected for development.
