Fingertips Company Limited is the organiser of the Art on Climate International Illustration Competition 2026, sponsored by Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI). The initiative promotes creative engagement with climate change by encouraging artists to communicate sustainability through compelling visual storytelling. Since its launch in Spain in 2019, the competition has grown into a global platform that attracts illustrators and animation creators from around the world. By combining creativity with environmental awareness, the programme aims to inspire innovative thinking, encourage climate action, and demonstrate how art can contribute to building a more sustainable and resilient future.
About the Grant
The Art on Climate International Illustration Competition 2026 invites artists to create original illustrations or short animated videos inspired by climate change. Participants may explore themes including biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, sustainable innovation, inclusive development, and collective climate action. Winners receive cash prizes of up to €2,000, electronic certificates, and international recognition through a virtual exhibition. The competition encourages visual storytelling that transforms complex environmental challenges into engaging creative works while promoting practical climate solutions. It offers an excellent opportunity for emerging and professional artists to showcase their talent on an international platform.
Who can Apply?
The competition is open to any individual aged 18 years or above as of 17 May 2026, regardless of nationality or location. Participants may submit up to three illustrations and three animated videos, provided all entries are original, unpublished, and have not received awards or participated in other competitions. AI-generated illustrations are not accepted, and submissions must not contain identifying marks such as names, signatures, or voiceovers. Each artwork must include a description of 30–100 words and comply with the required technical specifications provided by the organisers.
