About the Grant
The UN Women Climate Tech Accelerator is a unique programme designed to nurture women-led climate technology startups in the ASEAN region. Implemented by She Loves Tech, the initiative provides expert mentorship, access to global networks, and tailored community support to help enterprises achieve investor- and market-readiness. The accelerator focuses on both personal and professional development, ensuring that women entrepreneurs are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resources required to drive high-impact innovations. By empowering startups that address climate challenges while simultaneously promoting gender equality, the programme aims to create a multiplier effect of innovation and opportunity in the blue and green economies. The grant also emphasizes collaboration, bringing together stakeholders from the climate technology ecosystem—such as investors, entrepreneurship support organizations, and experts—to amplify collective impact across ASEAN. The ultimate goal is to enable women-led businesses to scale sustainably, contribute meaningfully to climate resilience, and establish themselves as leaders in advancing both environmental and social outcomes.
