About Organisation
The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), with support from the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, drives innovation in the financial sector through programs that combine technology with sustainable finance. The LHoFT fosters the growth of impactful fintech solutions by providing entrepreneurs with mentorship, exposure to industry leaders, and direct engagement with investors. This particular initiative, Catapult: Green Fintech, is organized in close partnership with the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) and leading stakeholders from Luxembourg’s green finance ecosystem. It offers a powerful platform for startups aiming to address pressing environmental and financial challenges through innovation. The program reflects Luxembourg’s commitment to sustainability and its ambition to be a global hub for green financial services. Participating firms gain access to tailored guidance, sectoral insights, and strong networks within the financial industry, particularly in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) domains.
About the Grant
Catapult: Green Fintech is a one-week intensive bootcamp designed to empower fintech companies that drive environmental sustainability through technological innovation. Held from September 15–19, 2025, in Luxembourg, the program includes expert-led tutorials, mentorship, personalized feedback sessions, networking opportunities, and pitching events. It focuses on four key areas: Green Finance & Risk Management, Environment Measurement, Sustainable Finance Regulation, and Green Finance Data Management. The top 10 selected fintech startups will engage in hands-on learning while refining their solutions to align with ESG integration and sustainable development goals. By the end of the program, participants will pitch their ventures to a high-profile jury composed of leaders from sustainable finance and impact investment sectors. The LHoFT will cover accommodation and meals for one company representative and reimburse travel costs up to €2,000. This initiative helps early-stage fintech ventures accelerate their growth and extend their impact in the green finance space.
