About Organisation

This Initiative is a youth-centric platform created to democratise participation in public life. It exists to give motivated young people a structured, ethical, and impact-focused route to engage with politics, governance, and civic processes. The organisation blends classroom-style learning with on-ground immersion so that fellows don’t just study politics—they practise it. Teams work across campaign operations, constituency outreach, research, digital communication, and data-led decision-making, ensuring that participants see how strategy translates into action. The culture is collaborative, merit-driven, and intensely hands-on: you will be trusted with responsibility early, mentored by experienced practitioners, and encouraged to question, analyse, and innovate. Equally, the Initiative emphasises professionalism—clear deadlines, measurable outputs, and respect for communities you will serve. By convening students, fresh graduates, and early-career professionals from diverse disciplines, it builds a pipeline of ethically grounded political workers who understand both the granular realities of the field and the broader architecture of public policy. In short, it is an incubator for future leaders who want to move beyond commentary to contribution.

About the Grant

The fellowship is a paid, field-intensive opportunity designed to give you end-to-end exposure to how contemporary politics is researched, strategised, communicated, and executed. You will contribute to coordination, support events and public engagements, assist social media teams, manage and analyse voter and programme data, and produce concise research and documentation that directly inform on-ground decisions. Expect real ownership of tasks, fast feedback cycles, and proximity to political professionals who will mentor you in campaign craft, constituency management, and narrative building. You will learn how to translate qualitative insights into actionable strategies, how to work with datasets to guide outreach, and how to turn research into crisp, persuasive communication. The role rewards initiative, discipline, and comfort with field responsibilities. Freshers who bring curiosity and hustle will find steep learning curves and rapid skill accumulation. By the end of the fellowship, you will have a portfolio of tangible outputs, a working understanding of electoral and governance ecosystems, and a network of practitioners who value execution as much as ideas.
