Three types of grants are available: the Standard Product Grant, the Software-Only Grant, and a newly introduced Travel Grant. The Standard Product Grant provides up to $12,000 USD per quarter in Wildlife Acoustics equipment and software, with individual applicants eligible for up to $4,000 USD worth of recorders, accessories, and analysis tools. The Software-Only Grant offers a streamlined process to receive annual licenses for Kaleidoscope Pro software, ideal for researchers needing analysis tools only.
The 2025 Travel Grant supports early-career professionals who wish to present their research at academic or scientific conferences. It offers up to $1,000 USD each quarter for expenses such as registration, travel, and accommodation. Through this initiative, Wildlife Acoustics strengthens the global conservation community by making innovative research more accessible and visible.
