About Organisation
AVPN is Asia’s leading social investment network, serving as a key ecosystem builder committed to advancing the flow of capital toward meaningful social impact across the region. As Asia’s #1 platform in this space, AVPN works to bridge the gap between funders and impactful initiatives by encouraging a holistic approach to social investment. This approach, known as the “continuum of capital,” encourages the strategic use of grants, debt, and equity—either individually or in combination—to deepen and sustain positive outcomes.
With a mission to mobilise more resources for greater impact, AVPN connects philanthropists, impact investors, policymakers, and service providers to collaborate and align capital with purpose. The organization believes that sustainable development goals can only be achieved by fostering a strong, well-connected ecosystem that prioritizes community-based solutions and long-term value creation. Through its platform, AVPN provides the tools, networks, and knowledge needed to amplify effective social investment strategies and scale up solutions that address Asia’s most pressing challenges. By building bridges across sectors and leveraging diverse forms of capital, AVPN plays a pivotal role in transforming the region’s development landscape through collaborative and measurable impact.
About the Grant
AVPN, in partnership with its collaborators, is launching an open call to support innovative solutions at the intersection of climate change and public health through its Lighthouse Fund. This initiative seeks to address the growing financing gap in Asia for projects that tackle climate-related health risks, especially in vulnerable populations. Recognising the urgency of climate action and its impact on health, the fund will support nonprofit organisations and social enterprises working in this critical nexus.
The grant aims to support impactful work in areas such as surveillance and management of climate-sensitive infectious diseases (CSID), and solutions to mitigate heat stress, including innovations in the development of heat-stable products. The selected organisations will not only receive funding but also benefit from a comprehensive package of support to grow their impact.
This includes access to capacity-building programmes, customised training and mentorship, and strategic networking opportunities within AVPN’s robust ecosystem. The goal is to strengthen the resilience of climate-affected communities by equipping mission-driven organisations with the tools, knowledge, and support systems needed to scale their work. By nurturing these changemakers, AVPN aims to catalyse solutions that will drive long-term improvements in both environmental sustainability and public health outcomes.

The Lighthouse Fund is open to nonprofit organisations and social enterprises across Asia that are actively working on innovative solutions addressing the intersection of climate change and public health.
