Through the SheConnects Digital Accelerator India 2026, the partners aim to expand digital access, skills, safety and economic opportunities for women across India.

About the Grant

The SheConnects Digital Accelerator India 2026 provides grant funding to scale proven, high-impact solutions that advance meaningful internet adoption and use among women in India. Projects should address barriers including access, affordability, digital knowledge and skills, relevant content and services, online safety and security, and restrictive social norms. Funding can support solutions enabling women to access the internet for the first time or helping existing users benefit more effectively from digital services. Selected projects will contribute evidence about successful approaches, encourage innovation and help create a more inclusive digital ecosystem that improves women’s lives and livelihoods.

Who can Apply?

The SheConnects Digital Accelerator India 2026 invites Indian not-for-profit organisations with proven solutions capable of advancing women’s meaningful digital inclusion. Proposed projects should address one or more barriers preventing women and girls from effectively accessing and using the internet, including affordability, access, digital skills, relevant services, safety or social norms. Applicants should propose scalable approaches with potential to improve women’s lives and livelihoods through meaningful digital adoption. Projects should be designed for implementation over approximately 15 to 18 months. Applicants must meet the programme’s funding criteria and submit all required information in English through the official process.

How to Apply?

Applicants should begin by completing the online Pitch describing their organisation, proposed solution and how the project meets the funding criteria. Shortlisted applicants progress to the proposal stage, followed by Fund Panel assessment, contracting and project launch.
