About Organisation

The TIH Foundation for IoT & IoE is dedicated to advancing the fields of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) with a special focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Internet of Everything (IoE). The foundation works at the intersection of academia and industry to drive innovations that are commercially viable and technologically groundbreaking. By fostering research and development in indigenous sensor technologies, the foundation aims to address key challenges in sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and supply chains. The TIH Foundation plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge academic research and practical, industry-driven solutions, supporting early-stage innovations that will drive India’s self-reliance in technology development. Through its programs, the foundation provides funding and resources to help transform research ideas into scalable, real-world applications.

About the Grant

The Shape the Next-Gen of Indigenous Technologies Initiative offers a unique funding opportunity under the TIH Foundation’s Technology Development Program. This initiative supports breakthrough innovations in Cyber Physical Systems (CPS), focusing on the development of indigenous sensor hardware for use in healthcare, agriculture, and supply chains. The foundation seeks to reduce India’s dependence on expensive, imported technologies by funding early-stage projects that address critical gaps in these sectors. Proposals must be based on application-oriented technologies, particularly sensors that can drive improvements in healthcare diagnostics, precision farming, and supply chain optimization. The initiative prioritizes innovations that are at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 or above. Selected projects will receive funding up to ₹50 lakhs over 18 months, along with commercialization support to turn ideas into market-ready products.

Who can Apply?
