About the Grant
The S’Cool Life Fund 2025 invites Canadian elementary schools to apply for grants supporting creative initiatives that enhance the overall school experience. The program funds projects that are student-centered, sustainable, and align with the DREAMS framework (Drama, Recreation, Extra-Curricular, Arts, Music, and Sports). Each project should be designed to benefit the largest number of students while leaving a lasting impact on the school community. The average grant awarded is under CAD 3,000, intended to spark innovation and school spirit through meaningful, engaging activities.
The Fund prioritizes long-term, tangible initiatives and excludes expenses such as salaries, instructor fees, playground construction, school renovations, trips, camps, or one-day events. By supporting creative, inclusive, and legacy-oriented projects, S’Cool Life Fund aims to make education more enjoyable and holistic for students across Canada.
Who can Apply?
Applications are open exclusively to Canadian non-tuition elementary schools serving Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. Each proposal must be submitted by the school principal, with support from at least one teacher and/or a member of a parent advisory group. Eligible projects should focus on enriching student life through DREAMS-based activities that are sustainable and capable of being used year after year.
The Fund emphasizes the importance of collaboration within the school community and encourages creative ideas that foster inclusivity, teamwork, and long-term engagement. Schools should demonstrate how the project will reach a significant number of students and contribute to their overall development. All communication regarding applications will occur via email, and schools are advised to ensure accuracy of their contact details. Successful applicants will be notified in December 2025, with grants disbursed before January 2026.
How to Apply?
School principals must complete the official S’Cool Life Fund application, including project details, expected outcomes, and support from teachers or parents. Applications are submitted electronically, and schools should ensure accurate email information for communication. Only complete, DREAMS-aligned proposals will be reviewed. Selected projects will be notified in December 2025, with funding disbursed in early 2026.

The deadline to apply for the S’Cool Life Fund 2025 is 31 October 2025. Successful projects will be announced in December 2025, with funds distributed by January 2026.
