About the Grant
Saamarthya 4.0 is the fourth cohort of IIHMR Startups’ flagship incubation program, specifically designed for early-stage, post-MVP, or revenue-generating startups in the healthcare sector. This four-month program, extendable up to six months for high-potential startups, aims to accelerate growth through intense mentorship, infrastructure access, investor connections, and support services worth up to USD 20,000. Saamarthya 4.0 targets startups working across areas like telemedicine, diagnostics, chronic disease management, AI-led solutions, wellness, alternative medicine, and digital therapeutics, among others. Participants benefit from market surveys, pilot opportunities, IPR assistance, co-working space, and core business operations support. The program provides a robust platform to scale innovations that tackle critical healthcare challenges in India. It offers startups an opportunity to gain visibility, refine their business models, and secure grant/funding support to deepen their impact.
Who can Apply?
The program is open to startups operating in the healthcare and wellness space across a wide range of verticals—from telehealth, diagnostics, and wearables to AI, fintech in health, and organic wellness products. Applicants must be legally registered entities, such as a Private Limited Company, Partnership firm, or LLP. To be eligible, startups must be in the post-Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage or have already begun generating revenue. The venture must address a significant national or social issue using innovative, scalable, and impactful solutions. Whether you’re working on cutting-edge technology like AI in diagnostics or pioneering a new model for chronic disease management, Saamarthya 4.0 is designed to support startups that combine innovation with measurable value to the healthcare ecosystem.

Eligible startups can apply by submitting their application through the designated application process on the official IIHMR Startups platform. The selection involves an initial screening followed by evaluation rounds.
