About Organisation
The South Australian Government, through the Department of Human Services (DHS), plays a pivotal role in building inclusive, resilient, and empowered communities. DHS works to improve the wellbeing of South Australians by supporting individuals, families, and organisations that contribute to social development, equality, and youth empowerment. One of its key priorities is to create opportunities for young people to participate in civic, cultural, and community life. By offering targeted funding and engagement initiatives, the Department encourages youth-led innovation, leadership, and collaboration. Through programs such as South Australia Youth Week (SAYW), DHS continues to recognise and celebrate the contributions of young people while ensuring their voices are heard in shaping a better future for their communities.
About the Grant
